A bit about me.
Sasha Vandal is a tattooer who grew up in Nashville and has spent much of his time deeply immersed in the city’s underground music and arts scene. A dedicated multidisciplinary artist, he has a genuine love for creating. Throughout his career, he has developed a signature style that merges bold American Traditional imagery with unconventional, eye-catching color combinations. His eclectic influences shine through in every piece while still honoring tattooing’s rich history.
His influences span from graffiti, valued for its raw energy and cultural depth, to the concept and character art of Japanese role-playing games. Now at Starfolk Tattoos in Madison, he continues to push his craft forward, surrounded by like-minded artists. When not in the shop, you’ll likely find him painting, making beats on vintage samplers, or building tattoo machines.
Sasha is a laid-back, friendly guy who loves making people laugh. He believes getting a tattoo should be an enjoyable, stress-free experience, keeping the atmosphere light while maintaining a high level of professionalism. He is dedicated to bringing each client’s vision to life while ensuring the process is fun and comfortable. His attention to detail, clear communication, and commitment to quality ensure every client walks away with a tattoo they’re proud to wear.
